In an exclusive ranking of 500 African champions by Jeune Afrique, AXIAN has leaped to 87th place. The Group jumped by over 30 places compared to the previous year, propelling itself into the Top 100 of the ranking for the first time. AXIAN is a responsible pan-African group operating in 5 high-potential business sectors, namely; telecoms, financial services and energy, and with a turnover of 1.9 billion dollars in 2022.

Every year, Jeune Afrique magazine unveils a ranking of the continent’s most important companies. For this 25th edition, the editors analysed the performances of more than 1,000 African companies over their 2022 financial year. The results have shown that the cumulative turnover of the top 500 African groups reached nearly 760 billion dollars, “a record […] despite the global turmoil and certain currency crises”, according to Jeune Afrique, which also notes the prominence of the energy, mining and tourism sectors.
